Active membership in the Guild requires committee work and committees are varied, offering a spectrum of volunteer positions.
Guild Relations - this committee is responsible for membership, publicity, guild history, guild meeting arrangements and new member orientation. It is staffed by 9th grade belle and beau sponsors. Libby Grafa and Karla Oquin are Guild Relations co-chairs for 2011-2012.
Symphonic Relations - this committee plans the annual Audience Appreciation Party, maintains the ticket bank and handles hospitality for the Sorantin International Young Artist Competition. This committee is made up of 8th grade belle and beau sponsors. Christy Ross is the current chair of Symphonic Relations.
Art to Music - this committee is responsible the planning and implementation of the Art to Music Contest for area 6th graders. It is comprised of 7th grade belle and beau sponsors, as well as active non-belle sponsor members. Nancy Cargile is the chair with Susan Brooks and Lorie Cantu functioning as Contest Coordinators.
Fundraising:Gala - all active members must serve on this committee as it is the Guild's annual fundraiser. Co-Chairs for the 2011-2012 Gala are Camille Huchton and Roberta Hinshaw.
Orchestra Luncheons - active Guild members will host orchestra luncheons on concert Saturdays. Each active member will be assigned one luncheon to work (planning, serving and staying to visit with orchestra members). Angela Williams is charing Orchestra Luncheons for 2011-2012.
